IHRD established College of Applied science at Payyappady in 1995. Computer Lab : Equipped with a collection of Pentium Dual Core PC's and AMD Athlon Machines with Windows 7, and these network are controlled by the Advanced Hub. This lab provides Broad Band internet facility in the campus for acheiving the Ultimate Ressource of Education. Security and protection against unwanted sites is enabled through Norton Antivirus Solution

 To cater with to the needs of the job market and also to mould the overall personality of the students placement training is offered to the final year degree students and PG students.It helps the students to channelise their energies and keep themselves on the right track.Students have been placed in various companies likeCognizant Technology Services,UST Global,Wipro,IBM,Infosys..etc.In the last campus recruitment drive 13 students were placed in UST GLOBAL,Wipro and Infosys
