	Eligibility Admission is open to those who have successfully completed 10+2 in any discipline or its equivalent or a 3 years Polytechnic Diploma from State Board after 10th Standard. Admission to Second Semester The candidate who has successfully completed a 3 year Polytechnic Diploma in CS/IT from State Technical Board after 10th Standard.OR Admission is open to those candidates who have successfully completed their 10+2 in any discipline and the candidate has successfully completed two semesters of ADCA form TCIL-IT/DIT/DCA FROM Cal-C after 10+2 or has done one year certificate / diploma from a reputed / recognized institute or has two year of IT experience.

2 .	BCA (Correspondence)
	Eligibility Admission is open to those who have successfully completed 10+2 in any discipline or its equivalent or a 3 years Polytechnic Diploma from State Board after 10th Standard.

3 .	M.Sc. Computer Science (Correspondence)
	Eligibility The candidates who fulfill any one of the condition as stated below are eligible to seek admission in M.Sc. Computer Science: B.Sc/B.E. graduates perceiving the higher qualification are admitted to M.SC. Computer Science having studied Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Science / Computer Application as one of the major subjects with atleast 50% of marks. B.C.A with aggregate of 50% and above. B.Sc / B.E. graduates having studied Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Science / Computer Application as one of the major subjects. B.C.A graduates with atleast 3 years of experience in IT field / Teaching.

	Other Details M.Sc Computer Science Programme of Karnataka State Open University is designed keeping in view the credits prescribed and recognized by the Distance Educational Council (DEC). Each course is allotted with 3 credits. Credit delineates the study hour; 1 credit is considered equal to 30 hours of study. A candidate has to earmark 90 hour per course for studies, which includes teaching, learning, library, preparation of Internal Assessment and Examination.

	Eligibility Admission is open to those candidates who have successfully completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with mathematics in 10+2. Admission is open to those candidates who have successfully completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University and have either completed their 6 months course in IT/Computer Applications or have one year IT experience.
	Duration 2 years (4 semesters)

Candidates can also obtain admission in the third semester. Candidates who have already done BCA.B.SC (IT/CS/AIT), B.E IN (IT/CS/EXC) or equivalent can directly obtain admission for MCA second year.
