School of Social Science & Humanities (SSSH)- In the 21st century, we face increasingly complex issues like National Integrity, Social Justice, Secularism, Democratic way of life, International understanding, and Scientific Approach to the problems of society and challenges, of tackling these calls for a multi-dimensional thought process and problem solving skills. A fully rounded, multi-disciplinary undergraduate & graduate education is essential to prepare students to develop such skills, and SBU SSSH aims to do exactly the same. B.A. History degree at SBU Ranchi is a liberal arts education that provides a thorough understanding of global and Indian history across ages with the interdisciplinary focus and engagement with the fields like archaeology, geography, sociology, political science, philosophy, languages and economics.
