Maharaja Institute of Technology

The Maharaja Institute of Technology was established in the year 2006 by the Paramasivam Palanisamy Charitable Trust, Erode with unending efforts of a dedicated team led by our renowned Chairman. Thiru. K.Paramasivam, B.Sc., The establishment of Maharaja Institute of Technology is one more milestones in the academic excellence of the Maharaja Group of Institutions. The College is located at Coimbatore about 8 Kms from Coimbatore International Airport and 18 Kms from Coimbatore Railway station. The infrastructure has latest resources and well experienced Faculty.

Power Back - up: The Institution has 250KVA diesel generator. The total set-up in the institution ensures the uninterrupted power supply to the institution for its various functions.
Computational Facilities: The institution has equipped with latest computing facilities with around 810 computers systems and 81 laser printers. A centrally located UPS of 140 KVA connects the computer centers.
Library: We have an excellent library contains more than 15,381 volumes of books, 124 journals(national and international) of worth of Rs.70 Lakhs. Total area of the library is 550 sq.m. with the seating capacity of 150 persons. Reprographic and networking facility is available in Digital library. The working hours of the library is 8.00 am to 7.00 pm.
Canteen: The college has a spacious and hygienic Caeteria. It provides a variety of wholesome tasty snacks and foods at a reasonable price. The canteen also provides packaged snack items, bakery products, soft drinks to the taste and requirement of not only the student but also staff members of the college. Separate lunch rooms are available for day-scholar boys and girls.
Sports: The college has an excellent play ground with an area of 5 Acres. The Ground includes Foot Ball, Basket Ball, Ball Badminton, Volley Ball and Cricket Courts as Outdoor Games and Table Tennis, Carom, Chess and Badminton as Indoor Games.
Seminar Hall: The college has one Air Conditioned seminar hall with the capacity of 300 seats and equipped with advanced Audio, Video and Projection Systems.
Transport: A fleet of 5 college buses are operated in and around the city of 50 Kms to commute the students and Staff.
 
 Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facility is available for Boys(Capacity-750) and Girls(Capacity-400) with Tasty and Healthy food. Mineral water for Drinking available around the clock in both the hostels. Emergency medical facilities are available inside the campus. Bothe the hostels equipped with Back-up power supplies.
