The National Power Training Institute (Northern Region), New Delhi is one of the seven centers of NPTI in the country. Established in the year 1974.Since its establishment NPTI (NR) has been determined to develop itself into an institution of excellence in field of power engineering training & education, in consonance with contemporary and future needs of the country’s power sector.
Library:National Power Training Institute Delhi has an ultra modern library having a large collection of books and presentations on Electric Power, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation , Electronics,Computers, Management etc. It is also subscribed to a variety of Indian and foreign periodical and journals for keeping in tune with the latest development in Engineering & Technology.
Along with that our library has a collection of Construction, Operation and Maintenance Manuals of NTPC, BHEL and other power sector companies which proves to be highly beneficial for our students.
Hostel Facility
NPTI Delhi provides magnificent hostel offering a comprehensive range of facilities within the campus.
The placement department of the college facilitates on campus recruitment by giving a common platform to students seeking jobs, guided by a set of rules and principles strives to maintain warm relation with firms. Preparing the recruitment schedule for the year, inviting firms for pre-placement talks on campus followed by final placements, and overseeing the process to its end is a responsibility that the Placement Cell endeavors to carry out successfully.
