The candidates should have passed with minimum 50% marks (45% in the case of reserved category) in aggregate in B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engg./Electronics & Telecommunication Engg./ Electronics Engg/ Electrical Engg/ Electrical & Electronics Engg./ Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engg./ Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engg/ Instrumentation & Control Engg/ Instrumentation Engg./ Control Engg./ Mechatronics/ Bio-Electronics Engg./ Bio-Medical Engg. or M.Sc. in Electronic Science/ Physics or its equivalent examination from any recognized University.

2 years (Full Time) and 2˝ years (Part Time)

Admission to M.Tech courses will be made on the basis of GATE Score/ Academic merit of the qualifying examinations.

The candidates should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination with atleast five subjects with one of the subjects of English from any recognized Board/University with atleast 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and one subject of Chemistry/Bio-technology/Biology taken together (40% in the case of reserved category). However, for admission to Biotechnology, the candidates with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology shall also be eligible. Or Should have passed with minimum 45% marks (40% in the case of reserved category) in Diploma in Engg./Tech., of three years or more duration from any recognized Board of Technical Education/ University or its equivalent Diploma examination.
Lateral Entry : (a) Should have passed three years Diploma examination from a recognized Board/University; with at least 45% marks (40% in the case of reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology. Or (b) Should have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in the case of reserved category) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject. (c) Provided that in the case of students belonging to B.Sc. stream, they shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawings and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects. (d) Provided further that the students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream. (e) Provided further that students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from a recognized Board/University or B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. However, the admissions shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned in a, b, c, d & e above.

4 years

All India rank of JEE (Main). 25% management seats (including 15% seats, if any, for children/wards of NRI's) as also seats remaining vacant after first counseling will be filled on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination.
