Vivekanand Institute of Technology & Science VITS was established in the year 2006, over a sprawling campus of 15 acres land, with an aim to cherish Technical excellence in our young budding techies. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to MTU Noida. It is also ISO 9001:2008 certified institute. The prime focus of the institute is to shape its students into professionals, who besides being Academically & Technically sound are gorged with competitive abilities & strong ethics. The Institute is strikingly committed to its core values of professional / Technical excellence, Research, excellent teaching-learning environment & above all Ethical Conduct, it expects its stakeholders to embrace them unambiguously.

Library:Vivekanand Institute of Technology & Science has a well stocked & computerized digital library. It is connected to the internet. it is spread over 638 sq. m. area with a sitting capacity for 525 students at a time. It has over 16,000 books in various disciplines, more than 1000 CDs & Cassette and 300 project reports. It also subscribes 100 Indian and foreign Journals and 20 magazines. IEEE Transactions and conference proceeding are made available to encourage students to purse research activities. It also has a reference section with more than 3500 titles of various engineering and management disciplines.
Transport:The institute has a fleet of its own and hired buses which run from various parts of the city of Ghaziabad.Anand Vihar, Seemapuri, Noida and other places to provide proper connectivity to the students, staff and faculties.
 
 Hostel Facility
The boys’ hostel which is within the campus itself has 64 single rooms, 62 double rooms, 70 triple rooms and 32 double rooms with attached bathrooms with a total capacity of 462 boys. The girls' hostel is also within the campus and has 66 double rooms with a total capacity of 132 girls. The mess facility is compulsory for all the hostelers.

The Institute has a full-fledged Training and Placement Department, headed by a Professor with a highly complement team, which interacts with corporate houses to explore the possibility of jobs placement of students. Counseling is provided to groom the students to meet the standards of the industry not only in technical knowledge but also in interpersonal and communications skills.
