RRASE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai is run by RRASE HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL TRUST. The location of the college is 1.5km, from Padappai on the Tambaram–Oragadam Highway, Kancheepuram and the campus is spacious, green, quiet and pollution free. This college is ideal for systematic learning. All thenecessary facilities to provide a conducive academic ambience are already established in the premises.
Class Rooms: For lessons that require specific resources or a vocational approach different types of classrooms both indoors and outdoors are used. This allows for learning in an authentic context that fosters the natural development of the particular vocational skill.
Library: The college library is well equipped in terms of books and current journals. In addition to main library, each department has a departmental library. The Main library, which functions under the open access system,has a total collection of 15000 books. In addition, the library subscribes IEEE/IEE, ASME International Journals and over 20 of printed periodicals.
CANTEEN: The canteen caters to the food needs of both the staff and the students. The dining hall is adequately furnished. Care is taken that the food offered is of good quality and nutritious and hygienic. There is a kiosk to supply snacks and stationary items to the students.
Transport : The College has its own buses for the transport of the students and staff from various parts of the city and kancheepuram to the college so as to enable them to reach the college in time and return comfortably.
Health Facilities: We have a RRASE Clinic inside our Rrase College Campus for our Staff & Students Health and Medical Facilities
Sports facilities: The college has its own play-ground which is used as centre of Games & Sports of the college as well as of the locality.
Hostel Facility
Boys Hostel name OLIVIA: The College has spearate hostels for boys and girls with all the facilities as they are located in a calm green pollution free place. They can concentrate on study very well. The hostel has spacious rooms on sharing basis. Each room is fully furnished with cots, work tables, and cupboards. Provision has been made in each room to have personal computers. The mess is professionally managed.
Girls Hostel Name SOFIA: Care is taken to serve wholesome hygienic and nutritious food. Adequate security arrangements have been made for the safety and security of the inmates. Games, Sports, Walking & Jogging are encouraged in the hostel. Yoga classes are conducted in the morning by the "Manavalakalai Manram". There is meditation center in the hostel & regular training is arranged in the hostel.
