National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

NIFT Mumbai campus was established in the year 1995 at Dadar, Mumbai and is presently located at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai where it enjoys the privilege of open, vast spaces and beautiful lush-green environment. Kharghar is a node of the city of Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra, with the new airport being proposed to be built here.This campus is one of the largest out of the other 14 NIFT centers across India.

The campus has 04 pattern-making labs, 06 garment construction labs, 05 art-labs, 12 computer labs, 01 textile weaving lab, faculty rooms, canteen, boys' and girls' hostels, open-air recreational space, etc. NIFT Mumbai builds students not only in academic skills but also hones their hidden talents through extra –curricular activities. There are various clubs like the literary club, nature club, sports club, cultural club and the annual inter-collegiate festival "Spectrum" etc. to join-in and allows them to prove their ingenuity in those areas too. NIFT Mumbai boasts of state-of-the-art infrastructure in terms of class room equipment, computer labs and class rooms. Apart from the academic infrastructure, the students are provided with a recreational places like a Gymnasium and Indoor & Outdoor sports areas and a movie-screening room.
 
 Hostel Facility
Girls Hostel : Girl students are accomodated in our new girls hostel premises with a capacity of 260 twin sharing rooms. The Hostel is situated on 1500mtrs. The hostels are equipped with all furniture and fixtures. Each Hostler is provided with the bed, mattresses, study table, chair, almirah, etc. It has a Common room, pantry, medical room, 24 hours hot/cold-water facilities. Lady warden, Doctor on call and 24 hours security are provided.
