CINNAMARA COLLEGE was established on 1st June in 1991 at the centre of three mouzas Katoni, Garamur and Charaibahi of the Southern part of the Jorhat District, Assam, near Cinnamara High School, was shifted to its permanent site on Ist June in 1998. The name of the College Campus is known as KABYAKSHETRA. The College Campus is located at the vicinity of ONGC, Cinnamara Complex, F.C.I. godown and opposite to Cinnamara Rly Station. The College campus is connected by its own approach road from southward (Jibeswari Katoni Path, distance only 230 meters) with Jorhat-Mariani road.
Laboratory :A laboratory for Geography students along with requisite instruments and provision for holding Practical classes of Education have been well-managed. Separate rooms have been allotted for practical classes.
Library: The college library was shifted to the new building donated by Mr. O.P. Gattani on 11.06.05. Our library has collection of over 20,000 books and several periodicals. Efforts are being made to procure books to our college library.
College Canteen: A college canteen has been set up recently for the refreshment of college Teachers, office Staff and students.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel for girls is under constructionfunded by UGC. Untill its completion, the College
authority will make temporal arrangement for staying girls in the rented house .Similarly, a boys’
hostel is also under construction by the college authority in memory of Luhit Chandra Borah.
Scholarship Facility
The SC/ST/MOBC/OBC/TGL Students are entitled to get Scholarship as per I.T.D.P.(Govt. of Assam).
