	Other Details Diploma in Photovoltaic Business Management is a competence based qualification which covers installing photovoltaic (PV) panels and systems into roofs, onto roofs or in non roof structures. It is suitable for those working in the installation of photovoltaic panels as PV Installers or Solar Panel Installers. It covers communicating and working with others, working with PV systems, locating, preparing testing, handling, fixing and completing the installation of photovoltaic panels; the importance and requirements of health and safety are emphasised throughout the qualification.

	Duration 60 Hours
	Other Details Diploma in Solar Rooftop Installer programme is aimed at developing skilled and qualified manpower to set up rooftop PV system installation. People including technicians, students and entrepreneurs can participate in the programme. The final goal of the certification programme is to help MNRE achieve the target of installing 4,000MW of rooftop solar systems by 2022. The 60 hours hands-on session will teach you to attach the solar panels to the roof, string the modules together, and interconnect the panels to the grid. Also, with the computer lessons, the seminar provides skills to assess your solar resources and project how much sunshine from your roof or backyard, can be converted to electricity.
