Aurora’s Design institute is a part of Aurora Group of Institutions, established in 2015. The campus is located at Habsiguda, Uppal, which is 3km from Uppal Metro Station and within a walkable distance from Uppal Bus Depot. The college located amid all the urban facilities. The place is also well connected to all the parts of the city with public transportation like buses, autos and even with upcoming Metro.
Transportation: Aurora consortium has a large fleet of Buses operating from various locations in the city.
Workshop: Workshop provides a platform for students to practically learn various construction methods and material applications. The workshop is staffed with technicians, faculty and experts who instruct and guide students in the use of the equipment so they can bring their projects to life, from model making to full-size construction of furniture and architectural elements.
Art Court: Aurora’s Design Institute has a uniquely refreshing well designed and art court space where students can indulge in the informal creative activities such as Painting, Sculpture, Wall Art etc. The Art court also serves as an informal lecture Discussion spaces.
Computer Lab: A state of the Art computer lab, with internet connectivity, 24 hour power back up facility is available for the students. All the latest softwares and graphic tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D, SkectchUp, GIS, etc., are installed in the systems, to mmet the special requirements of Architecture & planning disciplines.
Material Museum: Samples of various materials, and small-scale models of sanitary fittings and fixtures and technical data of all such materials is available for reference. AS a part of the Museum there is a laboratory mainly for material testing and a workshop for carpentry demonstration and model making in wood and plastic.
Library: The heart of an institution of learning is its library. The College has a well-equipped library. It has more than 1000 Books, Journals and E-Journals.
