The priyadarshini polytechnic college was started in the year of 1996 with an aim impart technical education to the students in and around vaniyambadi ,Tamil Nadu. The polytechnic was founded by the Jai Bharath Charitable Trust, Vaniyambadi. The polytechnic is located on the Vaniyambadi ,Thirupattur State highway near chettiyappanur village about 1km from vaniyambadi Town . Vaniyambadi is an industrial Town in the vellore District full of tanneries and others allied leather industries . The polytechnic main building and laboratory are on a hillock surrounded by green vegitation. The atmosphere which is free from air pollution & noice pollution is very conducive for to sound technical education.

1 .	Diploma in Computer Engineering
	Eligibility The candidate who pass X standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics and science subjects are eligible for admission Lateral entry into the second year (III rd –semester) of the three year diploma courses, the candidates shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination of 10 plus 2 pattern Their intake is restricted to 20% (10% for academic +10% for volitional) of the sanctioned intake of 1-year diploma courses; Academic stream: The candidates should have studied maths, physic & chemistry at 10 ,+2; Vocational stream: The candidates should have studied eithet maths (or) physic (or) chemistry at one of the subject of study alone with the related vocational subject at 10 ,+2 level There is no age restriction to join the Diploma courses Merit wise-communal reservations are being followed in the admissions.
