V. Ramakrishna Polytechnic College was established in 1982 by V. Ramakrishna Charitable Trust to perpetuate the memory of late Sri V. Ramakrishna. Situated in the northern part of the city of Chennai against a background of an Industrial belt, it extends over 14 acres. The institution is self financed and affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamilnadu and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education. Set in a salubrious surroundings, the college offers technical education at the Diploma Level. The college is committed to uplift the youth of the community through quality training, technical consultancy and other related services. The year 2007 marked the 25th Anniversary of the College and this milestone was celebrated in a grand manner. His Excellency Hon’ble Shri. Surjith Singh Barnala, Governor of Tamil Nadu graced the function
