Periyar University PG Extension Centre was established in 2012 with three departments M.Sc. Physics, Computer Science and Mathematics and three more departments, M.A. English, M.Com and MBA, were included in 2015 and in 2016 Departments of M.Sc Bio-Technology and M.Sc Applied Geology were added to it. In consonance with its mission statement “Arival Vilaiyum Ulagu”, the PG Extension Centre is committed to promote an intellectual climate through artistic creation, critical mediation and innovative ideation.
