V.V. Evening College was established in June 1958. Till 1958 Hyderabad Evening College run by the Osmania University was the only institution catering to the needs of the employees in government departments and in private services. The employees in most cases are always forced to seek a job because of the pressing economic conditions at home. However they have had no occasion to acquire university education, which is a status symbol in the eyes of the society. An evening college is certainly a medium they can use for getting over the above mentioned difficulties.
The college has spacious and well furnished lecture halls with all related amenities. It has a large library with more than 20,000 books in various subjects catering to the needs of students and faculty members.
