G.V.M.College of Pharmacy was established under aegis of Shri Santan Dharm Sabha a wholly charitable society registered in 1964. The Institute is duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for the intake of 60 girls students. The college is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. This is one amongst the fewest colleges of Pharmacy in whole of North India which is imparting quality education in Pharmacy to girl students.
The college is located in the heart of Sonipat city & spread over a total area of 2.5 acres. It is well connected to bus stand & Railway station.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: The hostels “OJASWINI KUNJ” and “TEJASWINI KUNJ” are situated in the college premises and furnished with modern facilities. Hostel is a place where one can learn adjustment, discipline and selflessness.It is a quiet place to study and relax.Nearly 180 students reside like a big family under the constant care of an efficient warden and an assistant warden.The well ventilated rooms,the spacious mess which provides excellent meals and common room with all modern facilities of entertainment makes congenial and homely atmosphere.The amenities like aqua-guard attached to water coolers,geysers in bathrooms and fans in every room provide comfortable stay in the hostel. Keeping in view the heavy rush and great demand for hostel accommodation,the construction of the second wing of the hostel has already been started.
