Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, established in the year 2007,was granted approval by the DENTAL COUNCIL OF INDIA and sanctioned by the GOVERNMENT OF INDIA with fifty-intake capacity. It is affiliated to MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY, Kottayam and 2010 onwards affiliated to KERALA UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH AND ALLIED SCIENCES, approved by Hon: GOVERMENT OF KERALA.
Library & Information Center: The Library and all related facilities have been set up in a vast area and is having all the amenities .The central library has a carpet area of 4695 sq ft, with separate enclosures of reception and waiting, property counter, issue counter, photocopying area, reading room with 125 seating capacity, staff reading room, journals room, audio visual room, and cabin for chief librarian. At present more than 1600 books and sufficient number of journals are stocked in the library.
Common Computer Facility: Students can use computer and internet facility at the special area in the library
Cafeteria: The cafeteria at the campus is the favourite hangout of the students. It serves a variety of snacks and beverages to the college community at a subsidized rate. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are available. The cafeteria remains open on all working days.
