The College & Hospital campus is situated in 5 acres of land in SHD&EW society at hinauti, Mirzapur. The Society provides well accommodation facilities both ladies and gents separately. The 1 acres of Herbal Garden is being maintained which facilitate the academic needs of students. The huge library building is the disposal of the students; the library has in its store the medical books with around 6000 books . All the departments are well equipped with charts, models and specimens as per the affix body norms. The aim of society is to make the institute, a prime educational center of the region so as to cater rural area for the poor and humble people of India.
Permission, Affiliation & Recognitions:
The Institute is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine, permitted by Govt. of India - Ministry of health & Family welfare Department of AYUSH, New Delhi, affiliated to Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and approved by Uttar Pradesh Government.
The Management is determined to develop this Institute into a model of excellent Academic Centre for Learning and Research in Ayurveda & Yogic Sciences, which would cater not only to the people of Uttar Pradesh but the whole World. The Institute aims at producing graduates of profound knowledge of Ayurveda & Yoga with extensive practical knowledge to make them fully competent to serve in the Medical, Health and Family welfare services and enable them to earn with respect and dignity.
Clinical Facility:
A 100 Bed Hospital with adequate staff, pathological lab, X-ray and other equipment, Operation Theatrewith wards in the I.P.D. /O.P.D. is available for treatment of patients through ayurveda. A complete unit of Panchkarma is established under Dept. of Medicine.
Labs & Library:
All the Laboratories relating to their respective subjects namely Physiology, Pathology, Anatomy, Toxicology, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra etc. are well equipped. The library subscribes for a good number of medical journals, magazines and periodicals. It is well managed with books on Ayurveda and Modern. The Library has a capacity to accommodate hundred students and there is extra space available for reading room.
Pharmacy:
The College has well established Pharmacy according to university norms and is being run under the supervision of experts and experienced staff. Quality Ayurvedic medicines are regularly manufactured and supplied to the O.P.D. Students are also imparted knowledge about manufacturing processes of Ayurvedic medicines.
Herbal Garden:
Herbal garden provides herbs on a large scale for imparting knowledge about their identification and pharmacopoeia.
Computer Center:
Responding to the need of the time, a computer training center has been introduced under the instructions of University. All the students are required to acquire basic knowledge of working with computers in collaboration with a recognized agency.
Hostel Facility
Well furnished hostel for boys "BOYS HOSTEL" with a capacity of 80 beds and a girls hostel "GIRLS HOSTEL" with a capacity of 64 beds are situated inside the campus with comfortable mess, Good standard of meals are given under the supervision of the teachers and students
