Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (GIPS)

In 2007, Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (GIPS) began its operations as the first non-government pharmacy institute in the state of Assam. The college was established under the aegis of Shrimanta Shankar Academy (SSA) - a registered service organization, set up in 1992, to help the society and its youth progress through education.

Analytical Instrument Facility : GIPS, Guwahati have launched Analytical facility to help Institutional Researchers to carry out their research work, paying nominal service charges.
Library: Established in 2007, the GIPS Library is well stocked and automated. Spread over 1400 square feet, the library is divided into different sections that house the Reading Room Corner, Textbook Corner, Periodical Corner, Reference Corner, Internet Section, Dissertation Corner, and the Competitive Examination Corner – a section set aside for students who are preparing for GPAT
 
 Hostel Facility
Students can avail of the hostel facility on a first-come-first-serve basis.
