Keeping in view the increasing awareness of proper dental care and a great dearth of well qualified dental graduates in India, particularly in the state of Haryana, the D.A.V. College Managing Committee took up challenge by establishing the J.N. Kapoor D.A.V. (C) Dental College, Yamuna Nagar with following objectives:
To provide the infrastructure and to promote and supplement Dental and Medical education and training. To provide the dental health care both curative and preventive to the community at large living in the catchments area of the Dental College. To undertake research for promotion of Dental Health and prevention of dental diseases. To experiment and innovative to utilize high technology advances in the field of Dental Health in the remotest corners of the state and that too cost-effectively
The college campus is situated in the heart of the city in the most posh area of the town. It has round the clock power and water supply. Facilities for indoor and outdoor games exist within the premises and it is one of the most peaceful campus in the country. It is walking distance from the best market and easily approachable by road and rail.
Hostel Facility
Proper exclusive Hostel accommodation is provided for students under full supervision of the Management. Most of the students have been accommodated in the hostel building with all the facilitates and under full supervision of the Management. Stop-gap arrangements, however may be made by the Management by renting accommodation near the college, as far as it is possible. Separate hostel for boys and girls exist within the campus accommodation is comfortable with a study environment fully secure and 24 hours water and electric supply. All girls stay within the campus excluding the locals. Some boys have taken up local paying guest accommodation even though facilities are available. New boys and girls hostel are in the pipeline in the neighboring blocks.
