South Calcutta Law College

South Calcutta Law College came into existence in 1970. Located in Kolkata/Calcutta (West Bengal), it is affiliated to University of Calcutta, Kolkata. The educational institute is one of the prominent and well known law colleges in the country. South Calcutta Law College is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi. The college imparts quality legal education through its undergraduate degree level program, that is, Bachelor of Laws (LLB). The course is a five-year program, which is conducted as per the guidelines of BCI. For the smooth conduct of its courses, South Calcutta Law College provides state-of-the-art facilities to its students.

Library:Library of the institute is the first under the University of Calcutta as well as in West Bengal and among the first 300 colleges in India who has offered by the UGC-INFLIBNET for N-LIST (National Library & Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) Connectivity.Presently more than 2100 peer-reviewed scholarly e-journals (full text) , more than 51000 e-books (full text) one bibliographic database can be accessed by our faculty members.The great facility about it is this e-library is accessible any where from the world and truly materilizes our dream of "library without four walls". It has been launched on 25th March 2010.
