Xavier Institute of Development Action and Studies (XIDAS) was founded in the year 1995 by Fr. Michael Van den Bogaert, SJ. It is a Registered Society run by the Jesuits of Madhya Pradesh Province. It is a sister concern of Jesuit run Management Institutes like XLRI, Jamshedpur; XIM, Bhuwaneshwar; XISS, Ranchi; LIBA, Chennai and XBS, Kolkata and many others across the world.
Library: The library is open for 12 hours on all days. It comprises of more than 11000 Book Volumes, National and International Journals and around 50 e-journals. The library has subscription to J-Gate, an online national database approved by AICTE.
Computer Lab: The Computer Lab has 120 computers fully equipped with latest software. Local Area Network and Wi-Fi facility is available for the whole campus. The computer lab is open for 12 hours on all days.
Auditorium: he institute has a State-of-the-art 650-seater completely air-conditioned auditorium equipped with modern facilities.
Sports Facilities: Football, Basket and Volleyball Grounds, Badminton Courts, Table Tennis Court, Cricket set etc. are available for students for relaxing.
