The school of Nursing, Sir Sunderlal Hospital is affiliated to the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. It is one of the premier and prestigious Institute of the country developed from Nursing Training Center way back in July 1 960.The annual intake of students was increased to 24 students. The midwifery course was also started in the year 1965 after the visit of inspection committee. "Three year general Nursing and Mid wifery Diploma Course" affiliated, to U.P. State Medical faculty, Lucknow is being conducted. The training is as per the syllabus of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and is recognized by I.N.C., New Delhi
