The Upasana College of Nursing was started in 2005-06 with an intake of 50 students. The college is attached to the Upasana Hospital, a 300 bedded Multi Speciality Hospital, managed by Shri. B.Ravi Pillai, NRI industrialist. Apart from the curricular activities, the college conducts workshops for trained nurses at various levels and provides communication skills, managerial skills etc., to students. The college cites stress free leaning methods, continuous evaluation and periodical health check up as some of the highlights. The students are also given conveyance facility.
