Kular College of Nursing

Kular College of Nursing (KCN), Ludhiana was established in 2008 with an objective to provide nursing education. The college has got the recognition from Indian Nursing Council (INC), Delhi and Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC). Kular College of Nursing is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The aim of the college is to prepare the students as academically sound, physically, mentally and spiritually healthy citizens and to open the international opportunities for the betterment of the students.

Library: The library has a total collection of more than 3150 books and its ever increasing. College has subscription of 10 National Journals and 8 International Journals. The newspapers available in the library are The Tribune, Ajit Punjabi, Ajit Hindi, Punjab Kesari and Jagbani.
Computer Labs: Computer lab,1500 sq feet is equipped with LCD, PC’s along with the latest technology processors and accessories.Every student gets the opportunity to learn how to operate it. Internet facility is also available in order to keep the knowledge of the students updated and to search the topics related to studies.
Class Room: The class room is fully equipped with LCD and high-quality speakers.Every class room has multiple boards to be used for writing, projecting and pinning, there is separate lecture theater complex.
Mess Facility: Mess facilities in the institute provided to students are very good. Food is homely, well balanced and nutritious. Food is prepared in a clean environment which provides students a feeling of the homely environment. Mess environment is ventilated, with clean surroundings and well equipped with furniture. Mess staff is in sufficient numbers in order to meet the needs and services of the students. The mess provides good quality of food at reasonable rates. Mess Committee Meeting is conducted once in a month to plan and finalize the menu and to suggest changes in the current menu within existing financial provisions for providing a balanced diet to the students. Sick students are provided special diet as per the guidelines of the doctor. Adequate drinking water facilities with RO are available to students. Special attention is given to the cleanliness of utensils and preparation of food. There is attached canteen to mess from where the students can purchase eatables and stationary. Special attention is paid to cleanliness of mess workers by health in-charge
 
 Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: A hostel is a home away from home. It is located on the college campus. The institute provides fully furnished (including the availability of a bed, chair, table and inbuilt cupboard) and ventilated hostel for 2 girls residing in each room. The attractive 4 story building with 4 blocks are constructed with an accommodation for more than 500 students with additional facilities of (attached washrooms and geyser as well as AC provision on payment). Teachers and family accommodation for the faculty are also available. The Hostel provides safety and security around the clock. There is 24 hours electricity and water back up. The facility of the water cooler with RO is also available in each hostel.

Placement Service Available: Our students get placement in various reputed hospitals such as IVY Hospital, Khanna, Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, and Satguru Partap Singh Hospital, Ludhiana, Apollo Hospital, Delhi and Max Hospital, Delhi.In- campus placement is also provided to the efficient students as a clinical instructor and staff nurse as per as college norms with handsome salaries.
