The KLU Hotel Management (KLUHM) commenced its operations in 2012 and has been consistently pursuing its mission of excellence with great zeal and perseverance in the discipline of management education. The objectives of KLUHM include development of professional managers and professionals in Production, F&B and Front Office for the corporate hospitality sectors. The cutting edge curriculum strives to impart students the necessary knowledge, managerial skills and decision making abilities coupled with right attitude. Management professionals need dynamism, innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial instincts. KLUHM stands committed to providing a professional environment perfectly conducive for acquiring the key managerial competencies. Students are mentored by eminent academicians and industry professionals. To churn out effective managers, training is provided in soft skills and life skills.

As a part of Hotel Management K L University has established international standards for regular labs such as Food & Beverage Service [Restaurant & Bar] Labs, Food Production [Basic Training Kitchen, Advance Training Kitchen, Quantity Training Kitchen, Bakery and Confectionery] Labs, Housekeeping [Linen room, Laundry, guest room] Labs and a Front Office Lab. The University's Department of Hotel Management is well equipped with the necessary infrastructure for imparting comprehensive training to the students. The faculty comprises of qualified and experienced staff from various prestigious catering institutes, who are committed in motivating the students to mature into individuals with a sense of responsibility and pride in their chosen walk of life.
 
 Hostel Facility
KL University provides hostel facilities for both boys & girls with a 2000 bed capacity for boys and for girls. The hostel rooms have accommodation on sharing-basis 2 to 3 students per room. Each student will be provided with a bed a chair & table and secure storage space. Mess facilities will be provided on campus.

The Placement and Industrial Training Cell of the Department of Hotel Management assists the students in arranging for training and placement in Top Best hotels.
