Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board. Founded by late B.R.P.Swamy in 1973 the Institute has gained great heights in its course of consistent growth. His vision was so for sighted in creating stars is yielding glorious results. After funding the entire cost of running this his dream institute the Government of Karnataka came to his aid and assistance seeing at the enormous potential of training the Film Stars by the institute. Sri. B.R.P. Swamy was ably and amply supported by Late Sri. R. Nagendra Rao an icon of the Film Industry in those years itself. As the first principal of this august Institute, he put a strong foundation on which the stupendous Institute stands today. The Government had already recognized and gave the grant in aid in the year 1979. Since then till this day the Government of Karnataka is taking care of entire working of the Institute.
