HR College of Commerce and Economics

H.R. College of Commerce & Economics is one of the leading commerce and management colleges, affiliated to the prestigious University of Mumbai (Bombay). Today, there are over 7000 students and each year the institution grows from strength to strength. The College has achieved excellent academic standards, while simultaneously creating opportunities for the all round development of students through sports and cultural activities by transferring the responsibility of the learning to the learner. The College empowers students and fosters young leaders. It has the highest number of students pursuing Chartered Accountancy with B.Com. The college has obtained 100% results at the undergraduate level and excelled in extra-curricular activities.

All classrooms have been upgraded with state-of-the-art technology. A large number of classrooms are air-conditioned and have audio-visual techno-savvy facilities such as Computers, LCDs, Wi-Fi system. Other rooms are equipped with a smart-cart facility, pulldown screens and whiteboards. (A smart-cart includes a computer and LCD Projector on a trolley which can be transferred to those classrooms which may not have a computer facility). The college has made optimal utilization of space as many classrooms can be converted into larger auditoriums.

The HR Placement Cell is dedicated towards keeping recruiters, students and alumni in contact with each other in the most beneficial way so as to meet the needs of employers and the aspirations of all concerned. HR College thus hopes to become a premier institution to interface with industry and be a prime human resource centre.
