Peekay CICS Arts and Science College, a selffinancing college affiliated to the University of Calicut started functioning on the sprawling 16 acre campus at the green heights of Mathara, Calicut. The college was established by the Calicut Islamic Cultural Society (CICS), P.O. Kolathara, Calicut, in 2013. Calicut Islamic cultural society has been in the forefront of social service during the last four decades. It aims at the uplift of the socially backward and the physically and mentally challenged sections of people by providing them with better educational facilities. A higher secondary school and the Teachers Training College on the campus have already scaled lofty heights in the educational sphere.
library :The college library has a good collection of standard books, journals and CDS. The library has computerized its operations and services with standard software. The library offers reprographic services to students & staff.
Multipurpose Hall:
A high-tech multipurpose hall with 500 seating capacity and provisions for indoor games, health club etc. is nearing completion on the campus.
Transportation: Transport facility is provided from the city to the college and back at a chargeable basis
Hostel Facility
The College provides campus hostel for girls. Application for admission to hostel should be in the prescribed form which can be had from the hostel. On admission each boarder should pay Rs. 600/- as admission fee and the caution deposit of Rs. 1000/- Admission to the hostels will be for one year and will normally be on the basis of marks in the examination. Boarding charges per month will come to Rs. 3000/-. Rent and establishment charges will be as fixed by the college from time to time.
