The college of nursing, commissioned in 2011, is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The K. J. Somaiya College of Nursing offers B. Sc. Nursing (Basic) Degree program of 4 years duration keeping in line with the guideline provided by the Indian Nursing Council and Maharashtra State Nursing Council.
A posh library, facilitated with 2000 volumes of latest literature in medical & nursing sciences enriches students' leaning activity. The literature as prescribed in the University syllabus, and recommended by the Inaian Nursing conuncil makes a reference library. In addition, foreign journals, Indian Nursing Journals, and Magazines such as Health action, Herald of Health, Social Welfare and News Papers are also stacked for leisure time reading to enhance students' general knowledge.
Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is available for the students within the campus of the Institution. Basic furniture is provided, but the students have to bring their own mattress, pillows and bed linen. It is mandatory that all the students enrolled for Diploma Program in Revised General Nursing & Midwifery stay in the hostel. Healthy and clean environment is provided in the Hostel; the accomodation is on sharing basis.
