Sree Sankara National Institute of education Trust, which runs the college, was established in 2003, by a group of renowned, Social workers with a vision to promote the welfare of weaker sections of the society. The trust is committed to provide education in Pharmaceutical sciences of high quality and excellences that will produce better professionals who will contribute towards all aspects of Pharmacy practice & Research Sree Krishna College of Pharmacy& Research Centre, Parassala is situated along side of NH 47 high way on Trivandrum –Kanyakumari route, 150 meters from Parassala Railway station, 1km from Parassala junction and 28 km from Trivandrum city. It possesses permanent spacious academic building with all amenities and infrastructure sprawling over area of 5 acres. The building has spacious class rooms, full fledged library with internet facility, well equipped laboratotaries, a modern computer center with global communication facility, an audio visual centre, laboratory animal facility and medicinal garden .

LIBRARY :Our college has a full fledged, well stored library spread over 400 sq. meters with a seating capacity of 100 students with separate session for Pharm. D and PG department. It has more than 1500 titles covering various disciplines of pharmaceutical science. The no of volumes run to more than 4200. It subscribes more than 200 magazines and 50 National and 20 International journals.In addition it has online databases, e- journals, and conference proceedings Library itself has 10 PCs to provide instant internet access. Reprographic facilities are also available to the users
LABORATORY :The institution has state of the art laboratories equipped with most modern sophisticated instruments. FT-IR, HPLC,UV-Visible spectrophotometer, convulsiometer, Digital plythesmograph, BOD incubator and projection microscope are a few to mention
DRUG INFORMATION CENTRE: Ours is one of the very few institutions in the state having the MICROMEDEX drug information system
CLASS ROOMS:We are proud to have a number of smart class rooms equipped with LCD projectors and Smart Boards. Our classrooms are spacious and equipped with most modern student friendly furniture
TRANSPORTAION :Day scholars and faculty from the city of Trivandrum are provided transportation
PHARMACO-INFORMATICS DEPARTMENT :Our pharmaco-informatics division is equipped with more than 50 personal computers which are networked and provided with high speed internet facilities. Essential software for Drug design, pharmacokinetics, formulation studies and INSILICO experiments to simulate pharmacology and physiology experiments are available in the department
