The Government of Tamil Nadu issued the N.O.C in its letter No. 16395/E1/2005–1 (Higher Education Department) dated 04-08-2005 and subsequently the college was approved by the National Council for Teacher Education No. F.TN/SEC/SRO/NCTE/ 2005-06/4173, dated 23-11-2005 and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.  The Manonmaniam Sundaranar University has selected our College as a study centre for the 2-years Distance Education B.Ed. Course. 

The college building has got modern infra structure facilities. Spacious and well ventilated classrooms are available to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment in which our students can excel in all the aspects of learning. The college library is the speciality of the college, which contains 3,267 books, 16 educational journals & periodicals and 56 encyclopedias which enable the students and staff to update themselves with various research activities.
