The Acharya Jawadekar college of Education had been established by Shri. Mouni Vidyapeeth in 1956, Under the auspices president ship of late Dr.V.T.Patil a renowned scholar and a great politician accompanied with the visionary vision of Padmashree Dr. J.P. Naik a great educationalist of international repute, the secretary of Indian Education commission 1964 –1966 an adviser to Central Govt., Chief executive to ICSSR , Member of NCERT and consultant to UNESCO for Universal elementary Education in Asia.
he Acharya Jawadekar college of education is having well equipped college building with specious classrooms to seat 80 + 50 students COE has its own library and reading room with 12168 books,32 magazines and central library with more than 56000 books.The medias like OHP,Slide projector L.C.D, epidiascope, film projectors, virtual learning centre,watch and improve system , well equipped computer lab with internet facility is installed in the college building.
Hostel Facility
There are 11 Hostels situated in the campus with Natural and eco friendly environment. The separate Hostel facility is available for ladies and Boys having well furnished rooms. Hostel is compulsory for all outstation candidates and the maintenance fees have to be paid separately by the students.
