The College was founded by St. John's Educational and Charitable Trust. In addition to a 35 year old Higher Secondary School affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, the trust also manages a few other institutions successfully. The Training College is housed in an imposing three-storied building having an area of 15,000 sq. ft. It consists of well-equipped spacious classrooms, laboratories and a modern audiovisual hall equipped with a large screen projection T.V., slide projector, overhead projector, facilities for language learning etc. The college building is a self-contained unit which provides all the necessary modern facilities to the scholars. All the rooms are fully equipped and furnished.

The library is housed in a separate building just in front of the college building. It has a stock of nearly 7000 volumes mainly on Education and allied subjects.
