A pass in 2-year Intermediate Course of A.P or + 2 Examination recognized as equivalent thereto securing 40% marks in aggregate. For SC&ST a pass is enough

Through an Aptitude Test conducted by the College/ Dept

A candidate is eligible for registration / admission to Ph.D. course in a subject, if he / she i) holds a Mater’s degree in the concerned subject or in an allied subject (approved by Osmania University) with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. In case of students belonging to SC and ST category, the aggregate shall be 50% marks AND ii) holds M.Phil Degree in the concerned subject or in an allied subject (approved by Osmania University) OR iii) is qualified in the UGCCSIR/ NET GATE examination or SLET examination of Government of Andhra Pradesh, or awarded a Research Fellowship by UGC/ CSIR / Government Organisation. OR iv) has published, as the first author, at least two research papers in the broad area of research in standard journals recognized by the University

Admission through selection by the Ph.D. Admissions Committee

Must have passed Master’s Degree in the concerned subject OR in an allied subject securing a minimum aggregate of 55% marks

Through an Entrance Test and subject to all other rules, regulations and reservations prescribed therefore

Any Graduate with 40% marks in Part II

Through the Entrance Test conducted by the University for this purpose, subject to rules ,regulations & reservations prescribed by the University from time to time
