The institute has been rated “A” by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) twice consecutively in 2009 and 2014. In recognition of its performance and high standards in providing quality education, the Institute has been conferred Autonomous Status by the University Grants Commission as well as Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya on the recommendation of a high powered expert committee appointed by UGC to inspect the Institute. This is a major milestone for the Institute.
Hostel Facility
The Girls Hostel is located in a posh civil area which is at about 2 K.M from the Institute. The location is safe and well connected to the city by public transport. It has 26 rooms all of which are on twin sharing basis. The Boys hostel is located in posh area which is about 0.5 K.M. from the institute. The hostel has 16 rooms which are well furnished and have twin sharing. There are several facilities such as food, water cooler, TV, refrigerator, laundry, security, etc.
The Placement Cell tries to provide opportunity to all its students to secure one job and pursues the policy of one student one job.
The placement cell is the interface between the corporate world and the institute. It maintains the industry –academia relationship by:
Facilitating Final and Summer Placements, interacting with the corporate community by inviting eminent personalities for guest lectures, seminars, corporate events etc, by arranging for industry visits and by encouraging On Job Trainings.
