B.Sc. Nursing | General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) | M.Sc. Nursing

1 .	B.Sc. Nursing
	Eligibility Candidates should have passed two year pre university examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subject and Physics, Chemistry and Biology OR Candidates from the stream of vocational higher secondary course conducted by the Board of vocational higher secondary examination, Kerala the candidate shall have taken of minimum of 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to the vocational subject (atleast 45% of the total marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 45%.)
	Duration 4 completed years including clinical training of 24 weeks.
	Admission Procedure Selection will be based on the entrance test

2 .	General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
	Eligibility a) 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with science (physics, Chemistry & Biology) subjects with aggregate of 45% marks; b) Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by INC; c) ANM training that is 10+1 ½ years training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination students shall be medically fit
	Duration 3 & 1/2 years with inbuilt internship
	Other Details Minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively

3 .	M.Sc. Nursing
	Eligibility Passed B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing degree or post certificate B.Sc Nursing of RGUHS, Karnataka or any other university expected as equivalent by RGUHS.
	Other Details Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining B.Sc nursing (Basic) in a hospital or in Nursing Educational institution or community Health setting is essential . For candidate with Post B.Sc in Nursing degree no such experience is needed after graduation. Registered in State Nursing Council has a registered nurse and registered Midwife
