ITM University, Gurgaon has rebranded itself as ‘THE NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY’ or ‘NCU’ for short. University Grants Commission (UGC) has Notified the name change of ITM University, Gurgaon to 'THE NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY' (NCU). An Ordinance notifying the name change was earlier promulgated by the Honourable Governor of Haryana. The University is already included in the list of Private Universities under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act.
