Founded in the year 1994, the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Educational & Charitable Trust has been in the forefront of providing high quality education in the region of Perambalur, an upcoming Yet-to-be developed region of Tamil Nadu. Spurred by overwhelming enthusiasm and ambitious zeal, Shri A. Srinivasan, has been the Harbinger of Literacy Development by being the founder of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education for women. Ours is the first self-financing College for women which was started in the year 2005, functioning at Perambalur district which is only one of its kind. Ours is the first self-financing college that got affiliated to Bharathidasan University, for the course programme B.Ed., in the year 2005. The College is approved by NCTE and at present affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

	Eligibility The candidates should have passed the UG Degree examination in the 10+2+3 stream, with the same main subjects in part – III, for which he/she is seeking admission to B.Ed course. Candidates with the following marks in the Bachelor’s Degree are eligible for admission to the programme other than Economics and Commerce subjects of which PG qualification will be mandatory. OC – 50%; BC – 45%; MBC – 43%; SC – 40%
