The Colleges are affiliated to the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar, and Garhwal as per Uttarakhand Govt. Notification 2272/HRD/2001-3/2/2001 of June 2001 with the following sanctioned courses. The Garhwal University has been awarded B++ grading by NAAC wide their Letter No. NAAC/A&A/ outcome/2003/65/4, dated-21 March, 2003. Recently,the H.N.B. Garhwal University got the status of Central University on 19th of January, 2009. It has been awarded the said status by the Union Government of India because of the services it has been providing to the country in the field of education for more than 35 years.
