Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, (established in 1942) is a conducted and constituted institute of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. It is a premier institute of technical education in the field of chemical engi-neering and technology in the country.

Computer Centre:The CC of LIT provides high speed internet facility of up to 100 mbps to the students through LAN. The CC has seating capacity for 50 students with dedicated LAN facility. The institute has installed latest desktops equipped with i3 processors and latest OS viz. Windows 10, Ubuntu 14 etc.
