St.Joseph’s College of Nursing, Anchal is one of the health care Education Institutions established on 2002 by the St.Joseph’s Medical Trust, founded by the religious sisters of the Daughters of Mary Congregation of the St.Mary’s Province in the Major Archiepiscopal diocese of Trivandrum, in accordance with the rights of the minority community guaranteed in the Constitution of India. The College is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health and Allied Sciences and recognized by Govt. of Kerala, Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nursing Council. St. Joseph’s College of Nursing is a member of the Association of the Management of Self Financing Nursing Colleges of Kerala (AMSFNCK)
Hostel Facility
The college provides hostel accommodation to the students. Basic furniture is provided but students are expected to bring their own pillows, mattresses, bed linen and other items for personal use. The cost of any damage to the hostel property will have to be paid by the hostellers. Administration / Discipline at the hostels is governed by the hostel rules. These are binding on all students and their infringement will result in disciplinary action.
Stay in the hostel is encouraged to meet the requirements of the course both academic and clinical. During the stay in the hostel the student will strictly adhere to the hostel rules. Visiting time is scheduled for Sunday only. A full time warden is appointed to look after the general cleanliness of the hostel and to see that the students adhere to the rules and regulations.
