The benign Devasthanam of Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Thirukkoil, Palani started two Polytechnics for Women and Men in 1981 and 1982 respectively to educate the rural, industrially backward population of Palani and to equip then with technical skills. The two institutions were amalangamated from the academic year 2003-04 under the name of Arulmigu Palaniandavar Polytechnic College, Palani. The polytechnic college managed by Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Thirukkoil Devasthanam, functions under HR & CE as a Quasi-Government Institution. It is the only aided institution in dindigul district, approved by AICTE.

1 .	Diploma in Civil Engineering
	Eligibility Condition for admission to the diploma courses shall be required to have passed the S.S.L.C Examination of the board of secondary education, Tamilnadu. (Or) The Ango Indian High School Examination with eligibility for higher secondary course in Tamilnadu. (Or) The Matriculation Examination of Tamilnadu.
