R. R. Institute of Modern Technology was founded in 2008 to become the “Institution of excellence”, However, academic activities in engineering college commenced in 2008 with a vision to develop a centre of excellence in the emerging area of engineering and technology. It is recently coming on its way to provide value based technocrats.
The library at RRIMT has ample number of books, with national and international journals and magazines, encoded with computerized system.It has very large and calm reading room for the students.
Hostel Facility
At RRIMT hostel facilities are available for boys and girls separately in the college campus. The facility for the students willing to stay in hostels is available on first come first serve basis, provided the requirement of a hostel seat is clearly mentioned at the time of application.
Hostel is well equipped with a common hall with television, and indoor games such as table tennis, chess, Carrom Board etc, the rooms in the hostel are spacious well lit, and well ventilated a dining area with mess facilities for breakfast, lunch and dinner, pay phone facility, water cooler with RO system and water geyser, Internet, 24 hours power supply, water and security is on the priority and available in the hostel.
Scholarship Facility
The Institute provides scholarship to the meritorious students. Institute also offers wave off to the students who secure top ranks in UPSEE.
RRIMT has a very active and committed placement cell, which keeps a tap on all coveted jobs through various ti-ups and arrangements.
