	Eligibility B.Tech. or equivalent in mechanical/ electrical/ electronics/ instrumentation & control/ chemical/ civil/ metallurgical engineering

	Admission Procedure Student selection is a two-stage process 1)All-India Entrance examination followed by a Personal Interview. 2)Students with valid GATE® Score will be exempted from written test. Eligible candidates may also be considered directly for personal interviews

	Other Details Internship Program is an integral part of the course and it equip the students with application skills relevant to various situations in a day to day working. It enables the students to experience the rigors of a professional organization.The objective of the program is to provide students with opportunities to apply the concepts learnt in the classroom to real life situations and to sensitize them to the nuances of a work place by assigning time bound projects in a company. 	Other Details The programme is structured in the form of theory sessions, tutorials, experiments in the nuclear laboratory, interaction with industry professionals and researchers, a visit to an actual nuclear power plant facility and, for those who wish, internships in the industry.This training will enable the students to gain adequate practical understanding of a nuclear power plant and its components / equipment so that they are well equipped to tackle the tasks assigned to them in their profession, including handling emergencies.
