Vemana IT is located in the heart of Bangalore city. It has been the flagship institute of Karnataka Reddyjana Sangha situated in Koramangala, the prominent educational and IT hub in Bangalore City, the silicon Valley of India. Vemana.I.T. is headed by Dr M. Channa Reddy. Vemana IT has a well laid out campus and infrastructure with excellent facilities to pursue research and P.G. courses.
Library: Vemana IT library has a collection of 20,000 volumes with 5300 titles covering various engineering subjects. Library has 60 International and 40 National Journals, 15 Technical magazines and 11 Newspapers along with 6 years back volumes of the periodicals to update the knowledge. Beside it has good collection of CD's and OPAC facility is provided for users to locate the documents.
Sports: The campus has a playground for out door games like basketball, volleyball, throw ball as well as indoor game facilities, such as table tennis, shuttle badminton, carom & chess to help students in engaging sports of their choice.
Health care: A Healthcare unit has been provided on the campus with first aid facilities. Well qualified Physicians are available on call, round the clock.
Hostel Facility
Individual hostels for boys and girls serving homely, hygienic food and beverages are available for outstation students. Each hostel has an independent library.
Training & placement cell serves as a link between engineering graduates and industry.To increase the number of placements and meet corporate level requirements in the areas of soft skills, aptitude and other essential areas, the placement cell conducts training programmes for each semester about 30 hours by reputed external agencies. In addition, it regularly organizes seminars, technical workshops, personality development programmes, mock test and other training programmes by the experts of different industries and R&D centers.
