This Institution was established in 1983 by the Church of South India (CSI), Kanya Kumari Diocese which is pioneer in the field of education. There is a governing Board comprising the Chairman (Bishop, CSI, K.K. Diocese), the secretary, CSI, K.K. Diocese, the Correspondent, the Principal & five Elected members which governs the Moderator Gnanadason Polytechnic College.
