Rudhraveni Muthuswamy Polytechnic College is situated at a rural area near the serene tranquil town of Udumalpet, which lies to the south east of the Cotton City Coimbatore. Ever since its establishment in 1997, the polytechnic has taken its rapid strides in reaching to the remotest village and offers technical education to a large number of poor and needy students coming from the schools in and around Udumalpet. Spacious class rooms with health of the students as the main criteria are created for conducting the theory classes. Fully equipped laboratories for all the branches are established and practical classes are conducted covering 100% syllabus.

Adequate care is taken to provide a balanced diet. Deputy Wardens are to continuously keep the boys on the track. Any abnormality observed in their behaviour will be reported to the parents
Our students are taken from campus tests and interview and also absorbed calling for interviews at the industrial establishments taking list of students with addresses from the placement cell. Students have also joined directly in the industries. The personnel managers who contact us for further recruitment report us that the candidates taken from our institution are hard workers and pick up very fast all skills required and expected out of them. Students also report of their comfort occupation and position and their relaxed feeling of their functioning in the industries they have joined.
