Spicer Adventist University is established by the Government of Maharashtra vide Maharashtra Act No. XIV of 2014 (also called as the Spicer Adventist University Act, 2014). It is a member of the Adventist Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities (AAA) which is instituted by the Board of Regents of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Academic credits from Spicer Adventist University are therefore accepted by any member institution of AAA. This automatically embraces several universities and colleges worldwide.
Hostel Facility
The men’s hostel comprises of two buildings that can accommodate over seven hundred boarders. The women’s hostel also consists of two buildings. There is a parlor for the ladies to relax and watch TV, as well as STD and ISD facilities for making and receiving telephone calls. The deans of the hostels acts like a guardian and mentor, ensuring students with a homely environment. These hostels are provided with 24 hours electricity.
